What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?
College Interactive collects and stores data you provide, and may share it with colleges and other 3rd parties . This may include your name, age, gender, high school name, email address, home address and other personal information provided by yourself in your profile. The information is shared for your benefit to connect colleges, universities and other 3rd parties to you allowing them to communicate with you and share details of educational opportunities, as well as other services and products that might benefit you.
What are my opt-out rights?
You can close your user account and stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

User Provided Information
The Application obtains the information you provide when you download and register the Application. Registration with us is optional. However, please keep in mind that you may not be able to use the features offered by the Application unless you register with us.
When you register with us and use the Application, you generally provide (a) your name, email address, age, gender, user name, password and other registration information such as high school name and location, and year of graduation; (b) you may also choose to provide us other information such as: ethnicity, phone number, postal address, grade point average, SAT scores, and other personal information, all at your own discretion (c) transaction-related information, such as when you respond to any offers, make purchases, or download or use applications from us; (d) information you provide us when you contact us for help; (e) credit card information for purchase and use of the Application (if applicable), and; (f) information you enter into our system when using the Application, such as contact information and project management information.
We use this information to send you information about the colleges and universities, and other third parties, that match your interests, and profile information. You may also provide us with your informed consent to receive additional financial aid, scholarship, career and product and service information from College Interactive or directly from our partner colleges, universities and partner companies. We may also use the information you provided us to contact you from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices and marketing promotions.
We may also collect contact and other information from you, and share it with colleges and other 3rd parties if you: (1) participate in one of our contests or sweepstakes or apply for a scholarship from us; (2) order from us; (3) take part in one of our surveys or quizzes; (4) contact us; or (5) otherwise voluntarily submit information to us, including in our online and social communities.
We also use a linking mechanism called Branch that allows you to automatically be routed directly into our mobile app (if already installed on your device) from another location such as a website or email. In addition, we may collect information about your browsing behavior, such as the date and time you visit our mobile application, the areas or pages of the mobile application that you visit, the amount of time you spend viewing the mobile application, the pages, the number of times you return to the mobile application, and other click-stream data. We do not combine this non-personal information with your personal information. We use this information to: (1) provide you with customized content from colleges, and other third parties, as well as promotional and advertising content; (2) administer the mobile application, monitor its usage and diagnose problems with it; (3) remember you when you return to the mobile application, so that you don’t have to re-submit information and preferences; and (4) conduct research to improve our content and services. In addition, we use software that uses your IP address to determine roughly where you are located, so that we can deliver customized content from colleges and other third parties, as well as promotional and advertising content to you, based on your location and therefore as relevant to you as possible.
Real Time Location
When you visit the mobile application, we may use GPS technology (or other similar technology) to determine your current location in order to determine the city you are located within, and roughly where you are located, display a location map with relevant advertisements, and send you messages based on your location
If you do not want us to use your location for the purposes set forth above, you should turn off the location services for the mobile application located in your account settings or in your mobile phone settings and/or within the mobile application.
Content Served or Enhanced by College Interactive
Our goal is to deliver content to you that is valuable. This delivery of information, advertisement, or other commercial or sponsored content from colleges or other third parties may be delivered to you in the form of Email, SMS Message, or Push Notifications (in-app messaging). We collect data and measure the effectiveness of our push notification campaigns, by measuring whether the messages have been received, opened or otherwise acted upon.
We will never share your IP address with a third party (except for our service providers) without first securing your express permission to do so.
Automatically Collected Information
In addition, the Application may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile devices unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use the Application.
Your Rights as a Data Subject
The EU GDRP (General Data Protection Regulations) makes provisions for the treatment of personal data and associated rights by EU citizens. At Xinteractive, Inc, in addition to our compliance with these regulations with regards to EU citizens, as a matter of good governance and accountability, we are extending the same rights to all of our data subjects.
You can ask us what information we hold about you, and can ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate. If we have asked for your consent to process your personal data, you may withdraw that consent at any time. If we are processing your personal data for reasons of consent or to fulfill a contract, you can ask us to give you a copy of the information in a machine-readable format so that you can transfer it to another provider. If we are processing your personal data for reasons of consent or legitimate interest, you can request that your data be erased. You have the right to ask us to stop using your information for a period of time if you believe we are not doing so lawfully.

Your California Privacy Rights
California’s “Shine the Light” law permits customers in California to request certain details about how certain types of their information are shared with third parties and, in some cases, affiliates, for those third parties’ and affiliates’ own direct marketing purposes. Under the law, a business should either provide California customers certain information upon request or permit California customers to opt in to, or opt out of, this type of sharing.
We provide California residents with the option to opt-out of sharing “personal information” as defined by California’s “Shine the Light” law with third parties for such third parties’ own direct marketing purposes. We may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information
We will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. We will retain Automatically Collected information for up to 24 months and thereafter may store it in aggregate. If you’d like us to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact us at: email@example.com and we will respond in a reasonable time. Please note that some or all of the User Provided Data may be required in order for the Application to function properly.
Children Under the Age of 13
We do not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org. We will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.
We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our Application. Please be aware that, although we endeavor provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.
