Chief Innovation Officer
With 30+ years of entrepreneurship and product development expertise in the higher education sector, Rob leads the Ci team on its mission to deliver the best digital experiences for college candidates and for NCAA student athletes. Rob is a graduate of Babson College with a BS Degree in Business Management, Finance & Investments. He is also on the Board of Advisors for Boston English High School, and their CTE Business and Technology program. As a former NCAA Athlete he understands the rigors of balancing academic and on-the-field challenges, and brings that insight to the innovative solutions developed by the company.
Chief Operations Officer
Russ graduated from UMass Amherst with a BS in Economics, where he played varsity football and was then drafted by the NY Jets. A series of concussions cut Russ’s pro football career short. He went on to manage Boston Coach (a Fidelity Investment Company) as CEO for 18 years. Boston Coach was named Company of the year from LTC Magazine three times, and Russ earned the award by Business Travel News in 20023 as “25 Most influential Executives”. Russ brings an extreme level of passion to the team wanting to help students succeed in life.
Chief Impact Officer
Daphne is a long-time educator, most recently as Director of Admissions at Shore Country Day School, in Beverly, MA. She competed at the Division 1 level at Harvard University, captaining both the women’s lacrosse and field hockey teams, and earning her BS Degree in Anthropology. Daphne has coached high school and middle school girls lacrosse for over 15 years. While still a college athlete, Daphne lost her closest friend, a lacrosse player at Dartmouth, to suicide. She has devoted her life’s work to helping student athletes and their families with mental health and college counseling support.
Chief Athletics Officer
Max was recruited to play football at the United States Naval Academy, and was then drafted by the New England Patriots, playing a key role on the offensive line for 9 years. As a former NCAA and professional athlete, Max is passionate about helping student athletes, and brings his lifetime of athletic experiences and coaching to the Ci team. His son currently plays football for the College of the Holy Cross.
Dr. Sue Wolf
Chief Mental Health Officer
Sue is professional psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, who specializes in Integrative Psychiatry for young adults. She is the founder and principal of Lupine Mental Health and Integrative Psychiatry, in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. As a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner her mission is to improve access to mental health and psychiatric care, reduce the stigma associated with having a mental illness, and improve quality of life through the promotion of mental wellness. Sue holds her Ph.D in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from the University of Wyoming.
EVP, NCAA Athlete Mentor Network
Bob has spent 25 years in higher education enrollment management, and college counseling. He is the former Associate Dean of Admissions for the MBA Program at Babson College. and holds a BS Degree from Elon University, and a Master’s in Education, Counseling, from Northeastern University. He began his career at University of Rhode Island where he ran Division 1 Track, and is now an avid and competitive cyclist.
EVP, College & University Partnerships
James has had a 20+ year career in higher education enrollment management, most recently as an Associate Dean of Admissions for the MBA Program at Babson College. James earned his BS Degree at the University of Hampshire, where he played NCAA Division 1 Football, and went on to earn his MBA from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Chief Technology Officer
Dave is an information technology expert who designs, manages, implements our scalable, agile and secure technology platforms. He is an innovative Information Technology leader and expert in data security & compliance, virtualization, cloud integration and project management. Dave is a graduate of Westfield State University, and a United States Navy veteran, having served as a system engineer in the Gulf War on the USS Philippine Sea CG-58.
Chief Product Officer
Max grew up in Maine, was both a rowing and debate champion, and a member of the elite rowing team Wayne Fleet. He was recruited by Boston University to row on their Division 1 crew team, and was awarded the presidential scholarship by BU, where he gained his BS in Science Education. While attending BU, he launched an edtech startup called AroundU, and was also awarded the Foukal Award for his outstanding performance in science. As an entrepreneur, Max developed a strategic action plan, prototype, and gained funding for AroundU while taking masters courses in both strategic planning and management. AroundU gained 1000+ users in less than 3 months, and the technology has been licensed to businesses in the Boston area. Max currently works as a science teacher in the Boston Public Schools, as well as working on other startup projects, and running some after school programs.
