What are your summer plans? Hanging out with friends? Going to the beach? Playing video games? Are you looking for a job?
There are so many opportunities for you this summer! One option you might want to consider is attending a summer program at a college! The benefits are truly amazing. You will get the chance to experience college life, and if the program is hosted on a residential campus, you will be living in a dorm, eating in the dining halls and getting a real glimpse of college life.
Many students leave home for the first time when they enroll in their freshman year of college, and it can be a real culture shock. For many students, the transition from living at home to living on a college campus can be quite the adjustment.
By attending a summer program, you will develop independence being away from home. This is important as you prepare for adult life.
