Kathy is an award-winning C-level information technology executive who aligns disruptive technology and security with the business to deliver profitable outcomes for a Fortune 500, publicly traded organization in a highly regulated environment. She is a leader with 25+ years of technology experience employing strong business acumen to lead companies during M&A transformations and turning around underperforming IT organizations.
Kathy also, in addition to leading the corporate cyber security program, has responsibility for cyber security, compliance and risk mitigation programs for Grid Operation Technologies (OT) in the Electric, Gas and Transmission businesses.
Kathy is a member of the Massachusetts Cybersecurity Council, an advisory committee to the Governor of Massachusetts, Edison Electric Institute (EEI) Executive Advisory Council, EEI Technical Advisory Council, Co-Chair of the Boston CIO Executive Summit, Boston CIO Leadership Advisory Council and the Massachusetts Women’s Forum. She is the recipient of the 2017 Boston CIO of the Year Orbie Award and the Girls Scouts of Connecticut Women Leaders in STEM Award. Kathy is also a former Board Member at Grace Academy and Girls Scouts of CT.
Kathy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Actuarial Math & Science from the University of Connecticut and a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of New Haven.
