Dominic Lomanno

Dominic is the Director of Graduate Programs for the College of Engineering at Boston University. In this role he is responsible for the management of the Graduate Programs Office; which oversees recruitment, admissions, financial aid and records for each the graduate programs. All of their graduate programs are ranked in the Top 20 among private US engineering schools and they like to graduate “societal engineers,” those who are well prepared to make significant contributions to the betterment of society whether pursuing a career in engineering. Before joining BU, he worked for two other Higher Education institutions – Babson College & Boston College and was lucky enough to be able to travel to over 26 countries while recruiting. While he enjoys all aspects of the job, his favorite is seeing how education can change people’s lives. Watching a candidate turn into a student and then to a successful alum, while along the way creating things that can change the world, is very satisfying. He has an M.B.A. from Babson College and a B.S. from Ithaca College.
